Sales Associate Raelene Box, from RE/MAX Partners, presents an exclusive screening of The Star on Sunday 3rd December at the Hervey Bay Bigscreen Cinemas in a family-friendly event and fundraiser for Make-A-Wish® Australia, an organisation that makes vital wishes come true for children and teenagers battling life-threatening medical conditions.
RE/MAX Partners’ sales associate, Raelene Box, who organised the charity screening, said local businesses had come out in great support.
“We have some wonderful businesses contributing and donating raffle and lucky door prizes, and we are holding a best-dressed competition for children who come as their favourite Disney character.
“We’ve organised the big RE/MAX balloon for the event and supporters include Susan River Homestead, realestate.com.au, Bakers Delight, Wild Lotus, Hervey Bay Ten Pin Bowls, C Finance, King I.T. (Dan the magic Man) and the cinema complex.”
Released this November by Sony Pictures Animation, The Star is the story of Bo, the donkey, who finds the courage to break free from the daily grind at the mill. His adventure sees him team up with Ruth, the sheep, Dave, the dove, three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals to follow the star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told – the first Christmas.
The Star features the voices of Steven Yeun as Bo, Gina Rodriguez as Mary and Zachary Levi as Joseph plus many others including Kelly Clarkson as Leah the horse, Oprah Winfrey as Deborah the camel, Mariah Carey as Rebecca the hen, Kris Kristofferson as Old Donkey, Bo’s father, and Christopher Plummer as King Herod.
The $15 tickets for the movie and fun-filled community event are available Hervey Bay Bigscreen Cinemas, RE/MAX Partners or by contacting Raelene Box on mobile 0412 577 866 or email raelenebox@remax.com.au.
