The first of June marked 20 years of RE/MAX Advantage, the successful and highly respected real estate business founded by Narelle Gill.
RE/MAX Australia managing director Michael Davoren congratulated Narelle on what he described as two decades of service by the best and most experienced in the business.
“Narelle was a trailblazer not just for RE/MAX but for the industry as a whole,” he said, “and she holds a special position of respect in the group because of leadership, business growth and reputation.”
RE/MAX Advantage, with offices in Wynnum and Manly, is one of RE/MAX Australia’s premiere offices, acclaimed as much for its culture as for the results it achieves.
Today, the business is led by Tandi Gill and Travis Gill who have been at the helm for the past nine years and who continue to grow the business and honour the legacy forged by Narelle.
“I’ve been very fortunate to have my son and daughter share my passion and take the reins at RE/MAX Advantage,” said Narelle.
“I’m very appreciative of the leadership, direction and support of the RE/MAX Australia directors and corporate team but also must mention Don Marion who passed away in 2016,” she said. “I am thankful he brought RE/MAX to Australia and encouraged me to establish my office.
“It was the best business decision I’ve ever made.”
Last year, when Travis and Tandi Gill were awarded RE/MAX Australia’s ultimate honour, The Eagle Award, which is given in recognition of significant contribution to the continued growth of the network, Narelle had been similarly honoured exactly ten years ago to the day.
