If you would like the end of your home loan repayments to come sooner, consider this:

Do you repay monthly? Divide that amount by two. Then simply change to repaying that amount fortnightly.

Instead of 12 monthly repayments, you’ll make 26 fortnightly payments, which is like a whole extra month of repayments. Don’t dismiss the idea, just change you monthly mindset. It can take years off the length of your loan and thousands of dollars off the total amount you’ll repay over the course of your loan.
