How much importance do you place on your pre-listing kit? How much effort has gone into its presentation? Does it truly reflect the best of you and your business? Does it ‘sell’ the vendor on your services and provide the best information to lead the vendor into an exceptional real estate experience? Do you get it to the vendor prior to your meeting?
Matt Jersey, an agent from New Jersey in the United States authored a practical guide to the pre-listing kit, which he says should include information about yourself and your business/brand along with real estate and allied services; a marketing plan and examples of marketing materials, contacts and networks; current and accurate market information; a vendor Q&A; and forms necessary to complete a real estate transaction.
The pre-listing kit must be customised for each vendor and property, and delivered before you meet to get the vendor’s signature.
Give your pre-listing kit a health check, and read Matt Jersey’s article.
