Mortgage Professional Australia (MPA) named APF broker Adam Bradley as a 2017 Young Guns Award recipient in January this year.
Each year MPA reveals broking’s emerging elite, comprising 30 young brokers writing huge volumes and earning the respect of the industry. The long-running Young Guns Award recognises Australia’s top brokers aged under 35 with less than two years as accredited brokers and more than $15m in loans written during the previous year.
All must be highly recommended by superiors, peers and referral partners.
A very high level of professionalism unites the Young Guns group. These are individuals who are all changing the industry in their own way.
“Adam Bradley is a young broker already well on his way to an outstanding career,” said APF’s CEO Nathan Swain.
Mr Bradley moved from engineering into broking and found the transition made easier through a structured mentor group.
“Every fortnight we’d get lenders in and learn about different products and structures, and proactively talk to other brokers about real life scenarios, marketing ideas and other valuable matters.”
Mr Bradley was one of the first graduates from the Academy, a structured professional development forum for APF brokers.
The high achieving broker says he has ‘found something I really love and I’m passionate about, and that I’m pretty good at’.
“I was always chasing flexibility, being my own boss and an untapped earning potential. As a broker, the harder you work, the bigger your business gets. It is something you can continue to build on.”
Mr Swain congratulated Mr Bradley on behalf of RE/MAX Australia and APF, the real estate network’s financial arm.
“Adam’s skills, outstanding performance, business growth and exceptional customer service have been acknowledged in this MPA Young Guns award, which recognises exceptional talent and promise in a potential future leader of our mortgage broking industry,” he said.
