A Mother’s Day High Tea is the first of RE/MAX Profile Real Estate’s fundraising efforts in support of Make-A-Wish® Australia this year.
While high tea and a fashion parade are in store at Keri Craig Emporium, Brisbane Arcade on Friday 6th May, RE/MAX Profile’s Christina Penrose says it’s not just an event for the ladies.
“What a great way for a young man to spoil his mum, by taking her along; or if the men can’t make it, why not buy mum tickets for her and a friend?
The event begins with a fashion parade featuring a mixture of autumn/winter casual, business and evening attire from many national and international fashion labels, with Brisbane stylist Laura Churchill of The Style Report talking the audience through dressing for your shape and accessorising like a professional as well as giving tips for a stylish winter season ahead.
“A brief presentation on the benefits of using organic and vegan products is also certain to draw interest,” said Mrs Penrose, “with Judy Ward, Business Development Manager, Inika, showcasing the Certified organic, vegan, and cruelty-free make-up range.”
Inika has also provided two prizes worth almost $200 each and a special bonus offer for all High Tea guests.
Personal Travel Manager, Denise Dean, fresh from a river cruise through Germany and Austria, will entertain guests with her own experiences as a traveller and in organising travel for others, and will announce an exclusive offer in conjunction with Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours.
“Another prize worth being there for is a Perfume Masterclass voucher worth almost $600. Libertine Manager, Gai Campbell, says the winner can make up a group of eight to 12 guests to attend a class.”
The Mother’s Day High Tea cost is $55 per person with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish.
Tickets are limited so quickly RSVP to Nicole Williams on 3510 5222 or email profilesales@remax.com.au by Wednesday 27th April.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural charity ball, RE/MAX Profile Real Estate brings the 2016 ‘Wishing Well’ Charity Ball to the Pullman Hotel on Saturday 13th August.
The themed event will come complete with wishing-well and the much-anticipated charity auction, which the office is currently organising.
“If anyone can assist with items or services that we can auction, we would be very grateful to hear from them,” Mrs Penrose said.
Last year’s charity ball, held in September, raised $7856.50 for Make-A-Wish® Australia.
For more ‘Wishing Well’ Charity Ball details or to donate auction prizes, once again contact Nicole Williams on 3510 5212.
