Each year RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand invite their top performers to participate in a forum of shared knowledge and experiences.
Seventy RE/MAX members and partners gathered in Queenstown, New Zealand, for three days of networking, learning and entertainment bundled with a good dose of fun all planned around the theme of Mission Possible: Taking it to the next level.
RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand Managing Director, Michael Davoren, described the event as massively successful and a reconnection with the cream of RE/MAX agents.
“We delivered a perfect opportunity and those who took advantage declared the program of internal and external presenters outstanding.
“Everybody has a next level, and this event is designed to make sure the next is upwards for our elite agents.”
Technology was a recurring theme.
Speakers were Steve Carroll, Head of Sales at realestate.com.au, whose passion for technology innovation was as evident as his deep understanding of how potential buyers search for property online; Charlie Hislop, from Trade Me; Ben Kloppers, RE/MAX Realty Group, who excels in profiling his office in the community; and Justin Miller, who supported by his team, is pioneering the evolution of the sales and property management industries with the introduction of technologies and processes unique to the RE/MAX Regency office.
Keynote speaker was Christophe Barriere-Varju, who became a National Motocross Champion as the age of 18 and a five time consecutive winner of the African Motocross des Nations. Just 21, he moved from Africa to San Diego to race motocross, and a just a few years on left the University of San Diego with a MBA holding a triple major in Finance, Supply Chain, and New Venture Management.
Christophe’s consulting practice, BvW Global, advises Australian Government agencies and large corporations in Complex Procurement, while also implementing performance management frameworks.
The Forum’s special guest speaker is one of RE/MAX’s top ten agents globally: that’s in the top ten of more than 110,000. Michael Joseph was born and raised in the Cayman Islands, educated in the UK, France, Spain and US. The RE/MAX Cayman Islands sales associate is recognized for a caring approach and business model that brings wisdom and clarity to clientele who are otherwise disoriented in a forever changing real estate market.
Mr Davoren said a panel and round table sessions featuring RE/MAX top performers Victoria Nicholson, RE/MAX Island Properties and RE/MAX Mainland Properties; Mark Clayton, RE/MAX Hinterland; Martin Hood, RE/MAX Riverside; and Stephen Wright, RE/MAX Partners, built on the program’s exceptional speakers.
The Platinum + Forum is provided exclusively for RE/MAX high achievers and is a ‘by invitation only’ event.
“Ironically, filming of Mission Impossible 6 was underway in nearby Glenorchy, but I don’t believe anybody came away with Tom’s autograph,” said Mr Davoren.
