RE/MAX Real Estate Services’ David Murphy was recently announced co-captain of Northern Pride, a Queensland rugby league club based in Cairns.
Taking great pride in the achievement of a player on his team is real estate business owner Tony Williamson.
“David and fellow captain Tom Hancock were hand-picked by the head coach,” said Mr Williamson, “and I congratulate both but am super-excited for David.
“The team is everything, on the football or real estate playing field.
“We work in a fast-paced dynamic industry; sales is a transfer of energy, and, when it comes to motivation and being successful, inspiration must come from within.
“David’s success inspires others to succeed,” he said.
Outside of real estate, Mr Williamson is Chairman of Northern Pride Rugby League Football Club and a member of a 10-man business group that mentors the Queensland State of Origin Rugby League Team.
Northern Pride is a development club – and feeder club to the North Queensland Cowboys – built around the phrase ‘born and bred.’
“The Club was formed to create a regionally based talent development pathway for players, coaches and administrators; and it competes in the QRL State competition and the Intrust Super Cup.
