Less than three months after opening two RE/MAX franchises, real estate identities Garry Kelly and Matt Roffe have stamped the brand on the much-publicised annual charity event, the Canada Bay Mayor’s Golf Day.
RE/MAX Australia Operation Director Josh Davoren joined the RE/MAX KRG and RE/MAX Commercial Alliance pair on an eight-man RE/MAX team along with business associates and contractors Max Di Donato, George Rounis, Tyson King, Brendan OHehir and Paul Menck.
Held at the Massey Park Golf Club on Friday 13th November, the Canada Bay Mayor’s Golf Day 2020 proceeds go towards a COVID–19 relief fund to be channelled equally through St Vincent de Paul and the Anglicare Pantry at St Bede’s.
Due to COVID restrictions in place, teams were allocated staggered start times and the usual charity auction and raffle took place online rather than at a sit-down lunch at the conclusion of play.
With the final fund-raising still being tallied, the figure was already over $48,000.
The RE/MAX team did the name proud, coming in at fourth out of 42 groups and hitting 13 under par.
“It was a great day all round,” said Mr Roffe. “We proudly support Canada Bay Mayor’s Golf Day and it reflects our commitment to this community and its leaders.”
RE/MAX KRG was a Gold Sponsor for this year’s event.
