The RE/MAX Living team at Burpengary, north of Brisbane, hosted an ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’ event at the real estate office on 16th May.
Organizing an ‘Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea’ is a first for broker owner Kathy Sweeney but not for the team, which recently rebranded from RE/MAX Ultimate to RE/MAX Living.
“The team really took it on board, they were the real drivers of this event,” said Ms Sweeney, “and that included baking many of the delicious pastries and cakes enjoyed by more than 50 guests.”
She added that the team has a major community and charity focus,
“This is fortunately a very large part of our culture in the office,” she said.
The morning included raffles and charity auctions conducted by agent Terry Lucas, with prizes donated by the generous Burpengary business community. Proceeds from those activities, plus ticket sales, support the wonderful work of the Cancer Council Queensland.
“Everyone said what a wonderful community event it was, and they are looking forward to the next to be hosted by RE/MAX Living,” said RE/MAX Australia Business Growth Manager, Tim O’Donnell, who sat down to breakfast on the day.
