The awards presentation ended a very successful training and networking day, which included special guest Bill Nelson who is widely regarded as one of Australia’s best business presenters and top speakers; and Katie Knight from RE/MAX Success, Toowoomba and Justin Nickerson from Apollo Auctions, who both shared their experiences and deep-seated understanding of the sales, auction and property management processes.
Justin Nickerson is the reigning Australasian Auctioneer of the Year and Ms Knight is the Real Estate Institute of Queensland Residential Property Manager of the Year for 2016, holding the title for the fifth time in the last nine years.
Mr Davoren said that RE/MAX members took away tips and tools to inject into their business from the interactive sessions at the combined states event.
“Bill Nelson was the Australian Men’s Long Distance Swimming Coach responsible for the likes of Ian Thorpe, Grant Hackett and Kieren Perkins, and is recognized for helping change the culture from an “I” mentality to a “We’ mentality.
“Everyone attending got something valuable on building successful teams and improving individual performances from Bill’s presentation,” said Mr Davoren.
