RE/MAX®, the global real estate giant, acknowledged its top regional business achievers at the fifth annual Asia Pacific Convention last month, with Australians and New Zealanders named for 13 awards.
In the Asia Pacific network, where Australia and New Zealand join South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Guam, Hong Kong, Macau, China, Japan, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Malaysia and Myanmar, RE/MAX Australia took second place for the number of offices and third in the agent count. RE/MAX India led in both categories.
Australia and New Zealand were prominent in the teams’ awards taking all three awards. The Neilson Team, RE/MAX Bayside Properties, in Brisbane was #1; Don Ha Project Sales, RE/MAX Revolution, in Auckland was #2; and the Rademeyer Team, RE/MAX First, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast was #3.
Three Australian agents cleaned up in the residential transactions’ category where Melita Bell of RE/MAX Success in Toowoomba was followed by David Neilson and Adam Gould of RE/MAX Bayside Properties.
Todd Gerhardt, RE/MAX Advantage in Brisbane, was in the top three for agent commission.
Brisbane commercial agent Geoff Esdale led in commercial transactions and his office, RE/MAX City, was in the top three.
RE/MAX Regency on Queensland’s Gold Coast and RE.MAX Success were awarded in the Asia Pacific region’s top three offices.
Real estate business owners and agents from around 30 countries across the globe travelled to New Delhi, India for the event, bringing together more than 400 delegates representing all 18 regions in the Asia Pacific, plus other countries including the US, Canada, Greece, Finland, Italy, Egypt, UAE, Estonia and Turkey.
