Darling Downs, Wide Bay and North Queensland in Brisbane for awards and training event.
Three Queensland RE/MAX regions were at RE/MAX Australia’s Milton head office where Managing Director Michael Davoren announced third quarter regional awards after a highly interactive day that featured Ben Ikin, former professional rugby league footballer, now co-host of NRL 360 on Fox Sports and rugby league columnist for The Australian.
The 18th October event was a day of training, workshops and networking, which RE/MAX Australia Professional Development Manager, Melanie Marsh, said also provided a valuable forum for top agents to share their knowledge and experience with the network.
“From RE/MAX ranks, we heard from Scott Mackey, Jacqui Walker, Tiffany Krause and Tony Williamson on topics ranging from marketing to the media to giving back to the community.
“Tony also facilitated a panel comprising Daniel Burrett, Gisele George and Shane McLeod; and coach and trainer, Dene Tucker, who joined RE/MAX Australia last year as broker owner of RE/MAX Auction Services, led a session.
“There was much in the way of strategies and calls-to-action taken away from all presentations,” Ms Marsh said.
RE/MAX Australia ranks its sales associates, sales teams and offices based on performance each quarter.
For the North Queensland region, RE/MAX Real Estate Services took the Top Office award for both categories of commission and number of transactions.
The Cairns-based office also produced the top three individual performances in sales associate’s Gisele George, Joan Robb and Matt Foley.
A Townsville team from RE/MAX Excellence, the Rob Levy Team, pipped Cairns to take out number one ranking for Team Commission, then it was back to RE/MAX Real Estate Services and the Ray Murphy Team for Team Transactions. The Michelle Hyde Team from RE/MAX Excellence made up the top three.
Hervey Bay produced the Wide Bay region’s top office, RE/MAX Partners.
Sue Robertson, broker owner of RE/MAX Coastal Lifestyle in Baffle Creek, topped the ranks for individual commission and sales transactions. Reece O’Brien and Angus Cruickshank from RE/MAX Partners made up the top three in individual commission, while it was Gladstone’s Shane McLeod, RE/MAX Gold, and Mr O’Brien for sales transactions.
Bundaberg produced the best team performance with the Scott Mackay Team winning the awards for commission and transaction sides. Team Williams from RE/MAX Gold and the Ros Waters Team from RE/MAX Energy, Boyne Island, took second and third places.
RE/MAX Success and RE/MAX Local Specialists produced the Darling Downs top performers in the third quarter.
RE/MAX Success, in Toowoomba, was top office, which also gave the region’s top three teams in the Daniel Burrett Team, the Melita Bell team and Team Justine. The top two individual results came from Jacqui Walker and Tiffany Krause from this office, and Trevor Manteufel was third for individual commission.
Leigh Hair, broker owner of RE/MAX Local Specialists in Withcott, made up the top three for individual transactions
Mr Davoren congratulated all RE/MAX teams on their consistent efforts and focus on their customers’ real estate experiences through 2018, and spoke of RE/MAX Australia’s commitment to its members and their individual business growth.
