Coast’s best agents recognised for March quarter achievements
Nambour, Maleny, Caloundra and Buderim proved the home base locations for RE/MAX Australia’s top sales performers when Managing Director Michael Davoren handed out this year’s first round of quarterly awards.
This was the inaugural quarterly awards for the Sunshine Coast, which Mr Davoren said reflected network growth and the caliber of its agents.
“We have held quarterly awards in the past interstate and outside Brisbane in Queensland,” said Mr Davoren who had presented awards in Cairns, Townsville and Wide Bay in the week prior, “but this year we have introduced regional awards for the Sunshine and Gold Coasts as well.
“There are strong performers in this region who deserve our recognition and accolades,” he said.
RE/MAX Property Sales was the top performing sales office overall.
RE/MAX Hinterland topped the team category for both commission and transactions with its Team Hinterland, and in second place was the Rademeyer Team from RE/MAX First.
The Sunshine Coast’s top sales agent in the March quarter, for both commission and transactions, was Lee Southerland, with Steve Perry, Richard Krausz, Andrew Kirby and Steve G Pery completing the top three rankings across both categories.
Christina Penrose, RE/MAX Australia’s reigning Broker-Owner of the Year, delivered a well-received session in the professional development program preceding the awards presentation.
Mrs Penrose entered real estate at 23 years of age and in 2000 opened her own office, RE/MAX Profile Real Estate in Bardon, Brisbane.
Her ‘Build the team, build the profile – everybody wins’ message struck a chord with the RE/MAX agents and franchise owners who, with RE/MAX, are afforded the flexibility to conduct business with great independence.
Caloundra agent Sandra de Jersey intends to showcase her successes more extensively in future, while Nambour’s Jason Stock said the session reminded him that reassessing practices should occur regularly.
RE/MAX is a worldwide leading real estate brand with unsurpassed global recognition through almost 100 countries, with over 6900 offices and more than 104,000 people.
