Delegates from far and wide came together last month at the seventh annual RE/MAX Asia Pacific Conference, and the focus of the three day event was ‘the power of we’.
Representatives from RE/MAX Australia joined hundreds of fellow RE/MAX members, empowering each other to reach new heights of success and to make a lasting impact in the world of real estate.
RE/MAX Results and Bayside Properties broker owner and director of the Limitless Group, Hayley Van de Ven was invited to lead two inspiring sessions at the event.
As her first time at the inaugural event, Ms Van de Ven said it was fantastic to be involved.
With a focus on moving from ‘me to we’, Ms Van de Ven’s focus group discussion centred on the importance of building a team that elevates the individual and the business. As a highly regarded leader, Ms Van de Ven admits she “thrives on team success” having expanded her business from four to over 120 members in eight years. Her second session guided attendees on strategic business planning and how to grow from a 300K to a million dollar income, insisting “it’s not a myth!”
“It was my first time and they definitely turned it on,” she said.
“When we attend events like this is cements how truly global of a brand we actually are.
“For me the major take away was the appetite that the Asian countries have for Australia and how safe they felt there money was here,” she said, “and it’s exciting to use that worldwide reach of over 110 countries in our local marketplace.”
RE/MAX Australia Managing Director Joel Davoren led an afternoon session with a focus on unlocking the potential in investment, collaboration and referrals within the RE/MAX Family.
““The Asia Pacific Conference is an important event in our annual calendar, bringing together the wider RE/MAX family with the opportunity to engage with and learn from other leaders within our network, and foster those important global connections,” said Mr Davoren.
“There is a lot of forward thinking and flexibility in the markets and the pacific regions are advancing quite significantly, with a strong interest in the Australian markets too.
“It was a fantastic event and it’s exciting for the RE/MAX network to be able to come together to connect with professionals and business leaders who are doing really great things.”
Representing RE/MAX Australia, Mr Davoren and Ms Van de Ven were joined by RE/MAX Precision’s broker owner Scott Mackey and RE/MAX Capital’s John Buckley.
The 2024 RE/MAX Asia Pacific Conference was held from September 1–3 at Hilton Bali Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali Indonesia. The three day event brought together RE/MAX real estate professionals, featuring over fifteen speakers from leaders across the RE/MAX network, including key speakers from RE/MAX LLC.
19 regions which make up the Asia Pacific region: they are Australia, New Zealand, China, Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Palau, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Uzbekistan.
With more than 140,000 agents in more than 110 countries and territories, no other real estate brand matches RE/MAX’s global footprint.
The 2025 RE/MAX Asia Pacific Conference is set to be held in Mongolia.
