RE/MAX Precision’ Scott Mackey was recognised this year’s Bundaberg Power 50’sbiggest climber, rising from #50 to #26, and remains the only real estate professional to make the ranking.
Power 50, is a list of ‘movers, shakers and shapers’ put together by News Mail in association with Central Queensland University.
The list is compiled through consideration of what makes a contender influential.
For the Bundaberg property industry identity and owner of RE/MAX Precision, it was ‘his finger on the real estate and industry sector’s pulse’ in the region.
Power 50recognised him as being well connected both within the region and outside it, having ‘played a key role in brokering big projects and selling the region internationally’. It acknowledged his business acumen, which has resulted in numerous real estate industry awards.
Born and bred in the region, and having spent decades working in the Bundaberg market, Mr Mackey is linked to numerous sporting and community organisations, and business groups.
More than 100 names were put forward for consideration in the selection of the region’s most influential.
