RE/MAX Australia and New Zealand’s Managing Director, Michael Davoren was joined by twenty-six Australian and New Zealand RE/MAX members in Las Vegas last month, for the 47th annual R4 Convention, rubbing shoulders with thousands of the networks agents, owners and affiliates, representing 67 countries.
RE/MAX CEO Adam Contos opened the 2020 convention, declaring that during 2019, RE/MAX agents closed nearly 1.6 million residential transaction sides, reinforcing the longtime assertion that nobody in world sells more real estate.
Transformation, kindness and productivity were on display at the opener, which encouraged the 6000 plus crowd at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, to continue to help transform lives.
Mr Davoren said that the R4 convention gave attendees the opportunity to network, learn from industry leaders and work on professional growth, as well as celebrate the achievements of the network. The theme of transformation continued to guide attendees of the event over the following days.
“Adam shared that RE/MAX has grown to more than 130,000 agents worldwide, which is the most in the company’s history. This transformation solidifies that that RE/MAX leads the industry because of its people.
“Nobody in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX and as a brand we keep evolving to enhance our advantages to meet the needs of our agents, business owners and consumers.”
Mr Davoren said that Mr Contos spoke of bold moves, equipping agents to be even more successful and help other.
“He encouraged attendees to get even better, as when you get better, you help others get better. That’s why we’re in this business.”
Joining Mr Contos on stage was RE/MAX Co-founder Dave Liniger who reiterated the importance of the relationship between the agent and the customer, stating “You can’t replace the relationship of the agent and the customer.”
The R4 program featured network and industry updates affecting agents and consumers internationally and globally, educational sessions, special guests, international networking and referrals, and great entertainment including opening night entertainment by DJ tWitch and a private concert by popular American rock band, and Rock & Roll Hall of Fametm inductee, Journey.
Rob Levy, from RE/MAX Advantage joined a panel of experts talking all things video. The ted-talk inspired Video Summit session provided insight to a packed house on ways to optimise video in marketing. Mr Levy specialises in digital marketing, videography and advanced audience targeting.
RE/MAX Regency’s Justin Miller presented the educational session, ‘Create, Market & Grow a Property Management Biz for profit’ where he shared his expertise on what it takes to establish a successful property management business.
