Josh Davoren was announced this week (2nd April) as a Director of all companies under the umbrella of RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand, and joins Managing Director Michael Davoren, Finance Director Chris Chapman, Franchise Director Joel Davoren and Independent Chairman Adrian Lane-Mullins on the Board.
Sydneysider, Josh Davoren, joined the corporate team in 2016 as a strategic move to grow the brand’s presence and facilitate new business development. His current role, as Business Growth Manager – New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, will remain a priority.
Mr Davoren has a Bachelor of Psychology and a Masters of Business Marketing. He has extensive international marketing experience with major brands having been based in London and Toronto for seven years. He is a fully licensed real estate agent in New South Wales.
“The Board’s decision to appoint Josh as Marketing Director is a strategic recognition of his high-level skills and the commitment he has demonstrated to RE/MAX® and our industry-at-large,” said Managing Director Michael Davoren.

While Josh Davoren’s scope of expertise has included senior marketing roles and high-end clients, he has been surrounded by real estate all his life. He and brother Joel are third generation real estate professionals following father Michael and grandfather James (Jim), a Gold Coast real estate identity from the mid1960’s to early 80’s.
“Our Australian and New Zealand regions are emerging powerhouses in the global RE/MAX network, and the brand has ambition and the ability to lead the industry,” Josh Davoren said.
The new Director, whose experience spans Australia, Europe and North America across blue chip companies, is familiar with the challenges and opportunities that come with innovation and change.
