RE/MAX®, the global real estate brand founded by Dave and Gail Liniger in Denver 44 years ago has been named the leading real estate franchise for the ninth consecutive year by Franchise Times in its annual Franchise Times Top 200+® survey.
And the Denver-based global franchisor, RE/MAX, LLC, the #1 name in real estate*, was once again ranked in the top 10 of all franchises.
Franchise Times magazine has been the USA’s top publication devoted exclusively to the global franchise community for almost two decades.
RE/MAX Australia Managing Director Michael Davoren said that being ranked the top real estate franchise year after year by Franchise Timeswas validation that RE/MAX® is the worldwide leader in real estate.
“The annual ranking of the 500 largest US franchise systems is by global sales over the previous year.
“This also puts the RE/MAX brand up with legendary brands such as McDonald’s,” he said.
This year’s top 10 overall were #1 McDonald’s, #2 7-11, #3 KFC, #4 Burger King, #5 Subway, #6 Ace Hardware, #7 Pizza Hut, #8 RE/MAX, #9 Domino’s and #10 Marriott Hotels & Resorts.
Mr Davoren said Entrepreneur magazine had also named RE/MAX the top real estate franchise in its annual Top Global Franchises list, released in July.
Acknowledged as the most comprehensive ranking in the world, Franchise 500 named RE/MAX as #11 overall and also recognized RE/MAX in its 2017 Top Fastest Growing Franchises rankings, the only real estate franchise that qualified and the fourth consecutive year RE/MAX has been included in the annual list of fast-growing brands.
“We are proud to be part of this incredible brand and network with more than 116,000 agents worldwide”, said Mr Davoren, “and we all play a key role in what we’ve built together throughout the world. RE/MAX became and remains a world beater.
“With a presence in over 100 countries and territories, the RE/MAX network’s global footprint is unmatched by any other real estate brand.
“Our unique agent-centric business model attracts some of the best performing agents in the industry and is one of the many reasons why the RE/MAX network continues to experience exceptional and enviable growth.
“RE/MAX has competitors, some very large and some small, but based on residential transaction sides, nobody in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX,” said Mr Davoren.
