Queensland agents recognised for September quarter achievements
RE/MAX offices from Wide Bay region and North Queensland joined forces in Brisbane this month for a day of professional development and awards recognition.
RE/MAX Excellence in Townsville was the September quarter’s overall top office for the northern region while RE/MAX Partners in Hervey Bay topped the Wide Bay region.
RE/MAX Managing Director Michael Davoren announced individual awards going to the highest achieving agents: Joan Robb, from RE/MAX Real Estate Services in Cairns and Sue Robertson from RE/MAX Coastal Lifestyle in Baffle Creek.
Making up the top three agents in commission and transactions for the North Queensland and Wide Bay regions were Michelle Welsh and Tareen Olufson from RE/MAX Real Estate Services, Cameron Cole and Rob Levy from RE/MAX Excellence, and Raelene Box, Reece O’Brien and Stephen Wright from RE/MAX Partners.
The RE/MAX Excellence Townsville-based Lyn & Rohan Team and RE/MAX Precision’s Aaron Thompson Team from Bundaberg claimed top billing for sales team success. Filling the second and third positions were the Ray Murphy Team from RE/MAX Real Estate Services, the Michelle Hyde Team from RE/MAX Excellence, the Ros Waters Team from RE/MAX Energy, Boyne Island and the Shane McLeod Team from RE/MAX Gold, Gladstone.
The awards presentation ended a very successful training and networking day, which included guests Erin Graham, a key account manager with realestate.com.au, and rugby league great, Craig Greenhill.
The day’s program also included top RE/MAX achievers sharing best practices and experiences with their peers. Social media, international relationships, the role of styling, photography and vendor paid advertising, value-based commission, agent and client confidence, and working your brand within the brand were among topics covered by Rob Levy, RE/MAX Excellence; Ray Murphy, RE/MAX Real Estate Services; Ros Waters, RE/MAX Energy; Stephen Wright, RE/MAX Partners; Anthony Williams, RE/MAX Gold; and Scott Mackey, RE/MAX Precision.
There was strong attendance at the event held at RE/MAX Australia corporate offices in Brisbane, with around 40 people and almost every office in the two regions represented.
Mr Davoren recognized a recent global RE/MAX achievement, announcing that RE/MAX had ranked the #1 real estate franchise for the eighth consecutive year in the annual Franchise Times Top 200+® listing, and ranked #8 of all franchises with McDonald’s, 7-11, KFC, Burger King and Subway making up the top five.
