Top end agents recognised for March quarter achievements
RE/MAX Real Estate Services and RE/MAX Excellence shared the awards and accolades when RE/MAX Australia managing director Michael Davoren handed out this year’s first regional quarterly awards in North Queensland this month.
Townsville produced the Top Office – Gross Commission winner while Cairns claimed the Top Office award for the number of sales transactions.
Giselle George from RE/MAX Real Estate Services in Cairns was the top performing individual agent, followed by Joan Robb from RE/MAX Real Estate Services and Rob Levy from RE/MAX Excellence in Townsville; and the order was repeated for the top three individuals for gross commission.
The top three sales teams were also in sequence for both commission and transaction categories with the Ray Murphy Team from RE/MAX Real Estate Services, the Lyn & Rohan Team from RE/MAX Excellence and the Michele Hyde Team from RE/MAX Excellence awarded in that order.
A very successful professional development program, which included a well-received presentation from one of RE/MAX’s best, Mark Cheney from RE/MAX Ultimate on Brisbane’s Northside, was held over both cities on 18th and 19th May, with RE/MAX Real Estate Services’ new showcase office, ‘The Chapel’, the venue for the Cairns event.
Mr Cheney’s office was the #1 Multi Office (transaction sides) and #3 Multi Office (gross commission) for 2016, and the Mark Cheney Team was #1 for transactions and #2 for commissions for that year.
The broker owner of offices at Burpengary and Murrumba Downs spoke of ‘Balancing sales and business growth’, sharing his vast real estate experience as both sales agent and business owner. His assurance to the industry and his clients has seen him consistently achieve exceptional results regardless of the condition of the market.
Mr Davoren congratulated RE/MAX members on their consistent efforts and focus on their customers’ real estate experiences through the first quarter, and spoke of RE/MAX Australia’s commitment to its members and their individual business growth.
He highlighted a major 2017 event, the RE/MAX Asia-Pacific Convention on the Gold Coast at the end of August, as an opportunity to create relationships that create business. RE/MAX Australia and RE/MAX New Zealand host this year’s convention.
RE/MAX is a worldwide leading real estate brand with unsurpassed global recognition through more than 100 countries, with over 7000 offices and more than 110,000 people.
